| Instructions: |
 |
- Insert Floral
Foam into the container. Make sure it is secure; you may need to glue
it in.
- Cover foam with
Spanish moss.
- You will need
to “pick” a lot of these dried flowers to strengthen the stem and get
a good secure hold. You do this by cutting the floral stem to the desired
length, and then lay a cluster of stems together against the wooden
pick. Wrap the wire tightly around the stems. Now wrap with floral tape.
|
 |
- These are a layered
arrangement, so each different flower type will be at a different height.
- Start low with
the tree fern around the front and sides. (Don’t worry about the back
because it won’t be seen.)
|
 |
- Next add all the
roses grouped in the front center.
- The next layer
is the dyed Lemon Mint.
- Followed by Rice
Flower.
- The following
layer is Cockscomb.
- The next to last
layer is Safflower.
- Finally we have
the Delphinium.
|
 |
- This is a great
way to bring the colors of nature into the house even in the midst of
a Thunder Ice Storm!!! Have fun making this arrangement and substitute
your favorite dried flowers to make the arrangement special to you.
- Enjoy, DAZ
