2. Take your newspaper
and scrunch into cylinder shapes, place in plastic bag and secure end
with rubber band. You will need four of these, 2 per arm and 2 per leg.

4. Stuff the newspaper cylinders into the sleeves of the shirt and into pant legs. ( Hint: If you will make sure that the bags have NO holes and place the plastic bags with the opening facing down, your scarecrow will stay drier when placed out side. 5. Now, button shirt and pants around the torso trash bag and secure the pants with a jute belt or suspenders. ( Hint: You could use Fall ribbon for suspenders.)
6. Extend floral wire through the vine pumpkin fro the head and through the hat. Glue raffia and leaves for hair.

7.
Cut raffia into 12" pieces fold in half and insert into sleeves for hands
and wire. Do the same for the pant legs. 8.
Glue assorted fall leaves to vine head and through out the scarecrow.
When you have finished decorating use wire in arms, legs and head to secure
in position. 9. Use your imagination and create a whole party of scarecrows from old clothes. Remember that by changing a few clothes later you can use your scarecrow right through the winter season. Just bundle him up!! Have fun, DAZ |
