Simple Fall Wreath Project
Monday, September 11, 2000

Supplies:
  1. Grapevine wreath
  2. 1 package of preserved oak leaves
  3. 1 Raffia or Jute bow
  4. Hot glue gun and glue
  5. Wire cutters
Instructions:

1. Make several smaller bundles of oak leaves; try to get at least 12- 15 bundles. Glue them around the entire wreath, covering the majority of the wreath. Usually you can cut the oak branches and glue them directly into the wreath. Occasionally glue a leave to the wreath, for added support. You want to keep the leaves going in the same direction.

2. Now make a bow from the jute or raffia and glue where ever you want. Glue bow directly to the wreath or wire on. If using a jute bow, tie a knot a few inches from the end of the streamers and then fray the end. I had planned to add other elements to this wreath, but the leaves were so simple and yet colorful I decided to leave well enough alone.

Hope you enjoy your wreath, and have fun creating it, DAZ
