1. Pull a rose from floral stem, also the other floral blossoms taking care to leave enough stem to add a wire. Using a candle, heat the end of the floral wire (8" length) and then push it through the base of the rose, being careful to push the hot end through quickly so as not to completely melt through the base. (Do this to all of the stems of the blossoms unless the stem is too thin and then you can just tape it directly to the wire. To do this just lay the wire next to the stem and start taping with the twirling motion.) Let the wire cool for a couple of seconds and then fold it down so that the flower will have a double wire as a stem now. Tape the length of the stem using a twirling motion. |

2. After all your flowers have been wired and wrapped, start laying the individual flowers one on top of the other starting with the bottom flower and working your way forward and down. I usually make 3 smaller clusters first and then layer those together and tape. 1st cluster- statice+fern+delphinium+hydrangea+forgetmenot; 2nd cluster- fern+rose+forgetmenot + fern; 3rd cluster- bow |

3. Having made your clusters you pickup cluster #1 and lay cluster #2 on top of it and start to tape, after just a couple of wraps add in your bow/cluster #3, and continue to wrap with tape to the end of the stem. You may want to wrap twice for added strength. 4. Bend the excess stem back and up behind the corsage and work it around one of the thicker base stems so that it isn't seen. 5. Be sure and add at least 2 corsage pins. I like to then put it in a small bag and label it with who it is for. I also like to secure my bag with an extra corsage pin just in case!
