| Instructions:
|
 |

1. |
As always ,
I recommend you read the label on the bottle of paint before you start.
Clean Glass thoroughly with alcohol, wiping any fingerprints off surface
to be painted. Any oil on surface will prevent the paint from adhering
properly. |
|
 |

2. |
Double load
your brush , by filling one color on the right side and another on
the left. I used the following combos: Hydrangea/ Pink, Pink/Lemon,
Violet/Hydrangea, Lemon/ White |

3. |
You might want
to practice on a different surface first, hold the paint brush perpendicular
to the surface then pull up to a point, turn the brush over so that
the same color of paint is next to each other and pull down. If you
make a mistake just wipe of the paint with a damp rag and start over. |
|
 |

4. |
To create the
rippled effect, just wiggle the brush back and forth as you stroke
up and then back down. Practice makes perfect so don't be discouraged
if your first petal isn't great, just try again. I painted 3 petals
per glass, you can use your discretion on the amount of petals you
want. Let dry. |
|
 |

5. |
Double load
your brush with lemon/foliage and paint the stem. I also painted 3
leaves on the foot of the stem, using the same technique. Let dry. |
|
 |

6. |
You can embellish
with a bird's nest or bird, butterfly, even dried pods for that early
spring transitional look. Also change elements such as hyacinth instead
if pansies, or daffodils instead of tulips. Yeah, it's almost Spring
and the real thing will be everywhere ! Have fun, DAZ. |
